National Cadet Cope
Maharaja Bir Bikram College has the long past glorious history in NCC. The college has a sub-unit of Army wing having the recognition of “A” COY. As per as 13th Tripura Bn NCC, only M.B.B. College having the status of “A” Coy in Tripura and holding the status of loyalty and leadership. The NCC unit of our college having a total of 100 male cadets in Senior Division along with the college having the girl cadets which is attached with 71 Tripura Bn NCC. The college is constantly encouraging the students to engage in NCC activity and appreciate the cadets for shining the college prestige time to time. The college is always flexible in regard to attendance for those cadets who are selected for national or state level camps. Every year or frequently, our college cadets are selected for IMA (Indian Military Academic) Dehradun, RDC (Republic Day Parade) New Delhi, TSC (Thal Sainik Camp), NIC (National Integration Camps), National Trekking Camp, RCTC (Rock Climbing Training Camp), SSB (Service Selection Board) as well as CATC (Combined Annual Training Camps). The NCC Cadets who attend the National Level special camps are recognized during the Kriti Kshatra Samvardhana function with a memento and certificate. Apart from the routine NCC activities, the cadets are also involved in different extension activities and community services. College NCC unit organize and participate in different extension activities such as Assam Rifles Republic Day Celebration Parade, Assam Rifles Independence Day Celebration Parade, Traffic Day Celebration Parade, Flag Day Celebration Programme, Udaipur Mata Bari and Kashba Kali Bari Mela Duty, Traffic Duty, Anti Dowry Rally, Anti Drug Rally, NCC Day Celebration Rally, Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, AIDS awareness rally, Disaster Managements- Earth Quake Demonstration as a helping troop, National Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Awareness Rally, Participate in International Women’s Day seminar etc.
