Government of Tripura has approved the subject of Physical Education as one of the elective subjects in Bachelor Degree Programme (B.A) and in the same year the College has introduced the Subject with an objective to prepare the students for Higher education in the field of Physical Education & Sports and produce good leaders in the society as well as to create environment for healthy mind and healthy body.

1. The subject is the pre-requisite for professional course like B.P.Ed according to NCTE norms,

2. Significant improvement in results of Physical Education,

3. Enthusiastic and highly motivated students,

4. Good interpersonal relationship among the faculty members,

5. Demand of the subject among the students is very high,

Shortage of facilities like teaching faculty, coaches, standard play grounds, technology based sports laboratory, etc.
