It was a proud moment for the Department of Chemistry to organise a "Special Lecture" in collaboration with Tripura Chemical Society on 20th January in Chemistry Gallery at 12 noon. We had with us with former teachers who made the destiny of this department and some of the renowned Alumnus of Chemistry Department.

The lecture was given by Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhattacharya, Retd. Reader, Department of Chemistry, MBB College, who taught here form 1971 to 2003. He was felicitated by MBB College and Tripura Chemical Society. Most importantly, our present students were excited to interact with our most senior teachers and perhaps could able to feel the the warmness, the dedication and the brilliance of this Department.
