DIG, BSF, Mr. Shishir kumar Chakraborty became a martyr in 1999 while combating with the armed millitants in Kashmir Valley. This noble son of mother India had been a student of M.B.B College. In order to keep his memory alive, BSF in collaboration with the college, organized a commemoration programme on 26th October in presence of Late S.K.Chakraborty's family members, college faculty members and the students of the college. Floral tributes, speeches and songs marked the occasion.
