Maharaja Bir Bikram College celebrated "International Ozone Day, 2024" in befitting manner in the Department of Chemistry on 13th September, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

The resource person Dr. Santanu Majumder, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Govt. Degree College, Kamalpur presented 'Ozone Day Lecture' in front of 75 number of students in Chemistry Gallery. He explained very lucidly the reason behind the formation of ozone hole and the outcome of Montreal Protocol. The students were very happy and immensely benefited by Dr. Majumder's illuminating lecture on Ozone layer.

Moreover, Dr. Asish Mitra, Visiting Faculty, IMD Chemistry programme, MBB University was delivered a lecture on the significance of International Ozone Day..
