The Department of Economics, MBB College organized a Farewell Program in honour of respected faculty member, Sri. Nanigopal Nandi, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics on 27th March, 2026. All the faculty members and students of Department of Economics assembled in the Conference room to bid farewell to him. Officially, 31st March, 2026 was his last working day. The Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Jayanti Bhattacharjee delivered the welcome address and shared words of appreciation about Sri. Nanigopal Nandi Sir. Faculty members, Dr. Chandana Acharjee, Smt. Soma Bandyopadyay shared their experiences and memories from their time together. Students expressed their respect and gratitude to him by performing cultural events and delivering speeches. The Department of Economics presented tokens of appreciation to Sri. Nanigopal Nandi Sir. The family members of Sri. Nanigopal Nandi Sir also graced the occasion. The event concluded with best wishes for Sri. Nanigopal Nandi Sir. It was a touching and memorable occasion, marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for Sri. Nanigopal Nandi Sir.
